Miss Blues “Steampunk”

Had Sherlock Holmes played the guitar instead of the violin, it surely would have been this one.

Inspired by the Victorian aesthetics of the 19th century, this creation reminds us of a time that never was, except in Jules Verne novels. Steam engines powering everything was a fantasy derived from the emergence of locomotives and cruisers as the most powerful means of transportation of those times.

Note the subtle touches: The cogs underneath the visor move as you adjust the knobs, and the vents near the toggle switch show the traces of smoke coming from the insides of this fantastic piece.(Text: Gardenia Fair, from “Catalogue Raisonné – Leo Lospennato Guitars”)
