“A/T”

The lethal pandemic that struck the world in 2019 presented us with a paradox: To protect each other, we had to stay away from each other. Maintaining a safe distance was (and still is) the best way to deter the menace. The psychological cost is significant, though; we humans are social beings, we crave connection.

The body of this guitar is composed of two separate pieces of wood that don’t touch each other but that follow each other’s shape. Unity despite separation.

The name “A/T” means “Apart /Together,” a tribute to the solidarity and love shown by those who found creative ways to stay close to others despite the physical distances. Apart we are, together we stand. That’s how we get through this.
